Project Amtoil
Bishwanath is one of the 40 Upazilas of the greater Sylhet Division. Amtoil is one of the village in that Upazila. This village is very neglected. The people of the village are suffering from poverty. The most frightening thing that has plagued Amtoil village is the physical disability of hundreds of people. Almost every family have disable adult or child. About 400 family members of the village are born with disabilities, 90 percent of whom are children. There are many families whose parents, brothers and sisters are all disabled. Rescue aid trust in partnership with, the Mankind Organisation has undertaken a project for the people of Amtoil. Which will cover physical, mental, housing, clean drinking water, sanitary, education and social development of these people with disabilities.
Child protection & Rehabilitation
Millions of children in Bangladesh live in the streets. They are denied their right of being protected from abuse and trafficking. We are committed to rescue and protect them & provide them primary education and technical training in multiple social aspect to gain self dependence.
Women protection & Rehabilitation
Poor women are the most vulnerable people in Bangladesh as human traffickers tend to target them most due to their helplessness & ignorance. We give shelters for those victims of human traffickers along with domestically abused victims. We train them is many ways, like handicrafts making, industrial garments sewing etc.
Elderly Support
Poor and elder people are more vulnerable in Bangladesh. They are unable to maintain quality of life. We do provide caring and health support to most vulnerable adults and disable people. We also work to create awareness amongst family members to care them.
